You’re a marketing operations specialist with the rare ability to turn vision into structure and strategy into results. You’ve built your career in fast-paced, founder-led environments (especially in FMCG) where adaptability, ownership, and clear communication are non-negotiable.

You’re equal parts operator and orchestrator, and you’re ready to build a team, bring order to creativity, and ensure bold brand ideas translate into coordinated, function-wide action. In short, you’re ready to own it.

Key Responsibilities

As our Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll be the executional engine behind the brand — the one who brings ideas to life and ensures the marketing function runs like a high-performance machine.

Reporting directly to our CEO and Head of Brand, you’ll be critical in helping us reach the next level of company growth. As the right hand of our Head of Brand, you’ll turn creative direction into coordinated, measurable action. You’ll lead day-to-day marketing operations, manage priorities, build structure and clarity, and ensure the team moves at pace without chaos.

You’ll also play a critical cross-functional role as the connection point between channel marketing and brand. Your ability to balance creative agility with operational discipline will make you the go-to for getting things done and making sure the work lands on time, on budget, and on brand.

This is the role for someone who loves executing on ideas, building and leading a team with confidence, and delivering results without losing the creative spark.

About You

You’ve done this before (either as the one in charge, or as the 2IC to a CMO) in a business that went from scrappy to seriously successful (think $10M–$30M+). You were instrumental in the growth but perhaps weren’t yet in the spotlight. That’s what this role offers: the keys to lead.

Must Haves

  • You’re experienced in building and leading marketing teams, from identifying the right next hires to running the day-to-day with clarity, urgency, and accountability.
  • You’ve worked closely with senior creatives or founders, and you know how to turn visionary ideas into structured, sequenced execution that actually ships.
  • You bring strong omni-channel experience and ensure every campaign ladders up to a unified brand story.
  • You know the FMCG space and understand how to execute campaigns that cut through in highly competitive environments.
  • You’re confident running the full marketing function: overseeing workflows, setting priorities, and keeping the team on track.
  • You know how to operationalise strategy: building processes, timelines, and systems that keep creativity moving at speed.
  • You have the digital expertise to lead performance marketing, paid acquisition, and channel-specific execution without needing constant direction.
  • You manage budgets with commercial discipline and know how to maximise ROI while staying aligned to brand and growth goals.
  • You’re fluent in the customer journey and know how to optimise every stage for growth, conversion, and retention.

Bonus Points For

  • Stepping in to brief, review, or even create social content that’s brand-aligned and engaging.
  • Building or managing effective EDMs and lifecycle campaigns across platforms.
  • Understanding the web ecosystem well enough to scope, brief, and optimise collaboratively with developers.
