INGREDIENTS:
12 fresh Medjool dates [pits removed]
2 tbs hulled tahini
Chocolate Coating:
1 tsp Natural Bone Broth Body Glue
1/2 cup organic cacao
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
2ml Reishi mushroom extract
1 heaped tbs raw honey [or pure maple syrup]
Sea salt flakes to garnish
WHAT TO DO:
- Fill dates with tahini – about 1/2 tsp depending on the size of the date and place on a clean plate. Once filled with tahini, gently press the date to seal it together.
- Combine cacao, coconut oil, Body Glue, reishi mushroom extract, and honey/maple syrup together in a small mixing bowl.
- Using 2 spoons, carefully dip one date at a time into the chocolate, ensuring it’s coated evenly. Repeat until all dates are coated and garnish with a sprinkle of sea salt flakes.
- Place in the freezer for 10 mins to set.
NOTE : Store leftovers in the fridge for 1 week or the freezer for 1 month.
