Traditional salted caramel tastes divine but all that sugar and dairy that comes with it really isn’t good for you.  These bliss balls satisfy a caramel craving without loading you with inflammation.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 Medjool dates – seeds removed + soaked in hot water for about 15 minutes
  • 1 tbsp BPA free coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp Gevity Rx Natural Bone Broth Body Glue
  • 70g Hazelnut meal
  • 20g shredded coconut
  • 10g coconut oil
  • Pinch of maca powder
  • Shredded coconut to roll in

METHOD:

  1. Soak dates in boiling water for 10-15 minutes
  2. Drain liquid, blitz until combined
  3. In a small pot, place the dates, coconut milk + bone broth and stir until combined and slightly sticky
  4. Place into a bowl with all the dry ingredients
  5. Mix well, roll into balls then into coconut to coat
  6. Place in freezer to chill

NOTES / TIPS:

  • You can replace hazelnut meal with any nut meal you like
  • Maca is optional
