INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp Cacao
- 1/4 cup almond meal
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Gevity Rx Natural Bone Broth Body Glue
- 3 tbsp cashew or almond butter (or nut/seed butter of choice)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp of espresso – Optional (this really helps enhance the richness of the chocolate)
- A pinch of flaky sea salt + extra for serving
- 2 scoops of collagen peptides or unflavoured protein – Optional
- 1-2 tbsp of home made chocolate / dark chocolate, chopped – optional
METHOD:
- Pre-heat oven to 175’C
- Grease a mini loaf pan with coconut oil/ghee and set aside
- Place all ingredients into a bowl and stir to combine
- Pour into your prepared loaf pan and bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set and a toothpick is clean when inserted into the centre
- Cool, Sprinkle with extra salt and slice
TIPS:
If you are a real sweet tooth add your choice of natural sweetener - birch xylitol / stevia / monkfruit
