Ingredients

For the mousse:

  • 1 block Sweet Guts Chocolate, melted
  • 2 large ripe avocados
  • 5 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup for additional sweetness

For serving:

  • Fresh raspberries and strawberries
  • Coconut yoghurt
  • Chocolate shavings

What to Do

  1. Melt the Sweet Guts Chocolate and coconut oil in a bowl using the double boiler method. Once the chocolate is almost completely melted, remove from the heat and stir until smooth. Let cool slightly until just barely warm.

  2. Halve and pit the avocados, then scoop the flesh into a food processor or high-powered blender. Add the melted chocolate, cocoa powder, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.

  3. Taste the mixture and, if desired, add honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness. Blend again to combine.

  4. Spoon the mousse into serving glasses. For a softer pudding consistency, serve immediately. For a thicker mousse-like texture, refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  5. Top with fresh raspberries, strawberries, coconut yoghurt, and chocolate shavings before serving.
